Excite Speech Pathology – Northern Beaches, Sydney
Are you an experienced Speech Pathologist who loves supporting school-aged children to reach their full potential?
Excite Speech Pathology is seeking a warm, motivated clinician to join our supportive private practice for a 6-month maternity leave contract, working with children aged 4–12 years across local schools and via teletherapy.
This role is ideal for a Speech Pathologist who enjoys working collaboratively with families and teachers and is passionate about providing evidence-based intervention for speech, language, and literacy development.
The Role
Part-time: 2 days per week during school hours Contract: 6-month maternity leave cover, with potential for extension if desired Location: Northern Beaches, Sydney (school visits + teletherapy during school holidays)
In this role, you will:
Deliver evidence-based therapy for speech sound disorders, language and literacy Support children aged 4–12 years in achieving their academic and communication potential Provide therapy within local schools and online via teletherapy Build positive, collaborative relationships with families and teachers We provide administrative support, assessments and access to a wide range of therapy resources (both physical and digital), allowing you to focus on what matters most—great therapy.
About You
We are looking for a clinician who is compassionate, organised, and passionate about paediatric practice.
You will ideally bring:
A caring, friendly approach with children and families Strong initiative and organisational skills The ability to work independently while maintaining collaborative relationships A commitment to ongoing professional learning and development Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Remuneration
This is a contractor role with percentage-based remuneration.

Minimum 3 years’ experience in paediatric speech pathology (ages 4–12) Relevant Speech Pathology tertiary qualification Certified Practising Member of Speech Pathology Australia Current Working With Children Check Current Police Check First Aid Certificate Own ABN Strong clinical documentation and communication skills
