The Team:
The North West Speech Pathology team delivers inpatient, outpatient & community services across 2 hospitals, a community health centre and in people's homes to adults, preschool aged children and babies who experience communication and swallowing difficulties.
The Role:
- Provide appropriate management including assessment, diagnosis and treatment to inpatients and adult outpatients with communication and/or swallowing/feeding difficulties.
- Work as an effective member of multidisciplinary teams achieving patient-focused outcomes.
- Maintain contemporary professional knowledge through appropriate continuing professional development activities and actively participate in quality improvement

Details of appointment:
Fixed term, part time, day worker position, working 63.8 hours per fortnight, until 1 December 2026.
*notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.

Salary: $73,834 to $111,364 per annum (Pro rata). Our Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
Salary range is in accordance with Allied Health Professionals Public Sector Union Wages Agreement no. 2 of 2022

Allowances:
In addition, the following allowances calculated on the salaried incremental point may be available:

Requirements
Successful applicants will be required to meet the essential criteria.
- Tertiary qualification/program of study accredited by Speech Pathology Australia
- Hold, or be eligible for, full membership with the Speech Pathology Australia
- Current Working with Children Registration
