Description
We are seeking an experienced Speech Pathologist to join our team at Australian Disability Support Services (ADSS), NDIS clients, Perth metro-wide. This is a part-time role (we have capacity for full-time as well) where you will play a vital part in providing high-quality speech therapy services to our diverse client base.
What you'll be doing
Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments to develop individualised treatment plans
Deliver evidence-based therapy interventions to clients with a range of communication, swallowing and feeding difficulties
Collaborate with clients, families and other healthcare professionals to set and achieve client goals
Maintain detailed client records and prepare progress reports
Contribute to the continuous improvement of speech therapy services
Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and case conferences
Requirements
What we're looking for
Tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology and current registration with the Speech Pathology Australia
Desirable 2 years' experience working as a Speech Pathologist, ideally in a disability or paediatric setting
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and collaborate with families and other professionals
Strong clinical reasoning and decision-making skills to provide high-quality, evidence-based therapy
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Proficient in using speech therapy assessment tools and documentation
